Four - 4 - 2

Finally booked our flights!

We shall be departing to Mumbai, India from London on the 1st of June. We then have a flight booked from Mumbai to Bangkok on the 15th of June and finally a return flight to London from Bangkok on the 1st of September, meaning our trip will last 3 months. Well, that is the plan. We also purchased a flexi-pass which meant we could change our flight dates, for free, by up to six months. This potentially means we could stay until March 2013, budget permitting!

As we shall be arriving in Mumbai around 10pm and have never been to India before we've decided to book a hotel for the first couple of nights. This should hopefully make things a lot easier when we arrive.

This will probably be the last post for a while as its just a waiting game now.. only 124 days (4 months 3 days) LONG!

OK so you could say we are cutting it a bit fine but... that's the best way!

Today we decided exactly where we wanted to visit this summer. Although we have all been to Asia before, this was limited to Thailand and Bali. After little deliberation the destinations chosen were as follows; India, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. It was already evident this would be a summer which would live long in the memory.

We shall be away for three months and will depart between the 15th of May and the 1st of June, starting off with a flight to India.

We have all heard a lot about India, especially when in Asia previously. The plan at the moment is to visit Mumbai for a few days then travel down to Goa, Kerala, back to Mumbai then fly to Bangkok.

We have decided to create this blog to keep track of everything and help keep photos/videos organised.

Its going to be a good summer!! :D
